Your privacy matters to us. This notice explains how we handle personal information on the Ora Pay website and in our questionnaires.
Who we are
Telora Limited, an ADGM company in Abu Dhabi, is responsible for your personal information. Ora Pay, OraMerchant and Telora Insights are its products. Contact us at privacy@ora-pay.com.
If you email us
We use your address, message and any information you provide to respond to you. Our legitimate interests are answering enquiries and operating our website. Please avoid sending payment details, identity documents or confidential information that we do not need.
The questionnaires
We run two questionnaires, one about travelling and one about running a business. They help us decide what to build. Taking part is optional and we ask for your agreement before the questions begin. You can decline, skip any question, and stop at any time. If you decline or stop, we do not use your answers. Our third party survey provider may retain a copy in line with its own policy.
We record the answers you give, how far you got, and how long you spent. We also record which page you started from, so we can tell a genuine response from one of our own test runs. We do not ask for your name or contact details as part of the questions themselves.
Please leave out bank card numbers, passport details, other people's personal information and confidential business information. We do not need any of it.
Waitlist, updates and a call
At the end, you can choose to hear from us. Each choice is separate, none is ticked for you, and you can choose none of them:
- letting us email you about the experience you described
- joining a waitlist
- receiving news and updates, which you can unsubscribe from at any time
- a follow up call with our chief executive
If you choose any of these, we ask for contact details at that point and use them only for what you agreed to. Agreeing to one does not sign you up to another. We rely on your consent for these, and you can withdraw it at any time without affecting anything we did lawfully beforehand.
Your browsing choices
We use temporary storage in your browser to remember whether you have seen the intro during that tab's session. This site has no advertising or audience analytics tools.
The retro page loads SoundCloud's player software so the radio is ready to use. No music plays, and no track is requested, until you press Play. SoundCloud receives technical information needed to deliver its player and may use cookies under its privacy policy.
Who handles information
We use Typeform to run the questionnaires and store the responses, Google Workspace for email, and SoundCloud for the optional radio. They act on our instructions. Providers may process information outside ADGM. We do not sell your personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep your personal information for no more than 36 months. Where we no longer need something sooner, we remove it sooner.
This is a maximum. Earlier withdrawal or an erasure request comes first, and you can ask us to delete information we no longer need at any time.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or a portable copy of your information, or object to its use. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful use.
Email privacy@ora-pay.com to make a request. You can also raise a concern with the ADGM Office of Data Protection.
We will update this notice when the website or our use of information changes.
